How to not get tired at football practice ?

Okay, i am trying out for my school's football team this year and i went to my first practice on the field today. As practice went on, i found myself getting tired very quickly and i was also messing up on simple drills when i got tired. I dont get it, there are people on the team who eats junk food and always drink soda and NEVER get worn out. But i eat healthy all the time and drink a gallon of water a day . So what do you think my problem is ? And how could i stop getting tired so quickly ?

Doesn't matter if you are healthy or not it helps.. but the main reason is obviously you are not in shape... give it a couple weeks of practice and you w ill notice a difference.

its the first day, so its gonna be hard



ur body isnt use to the activity, u'll be fine after a couple days



also u should eat more protein since it repairs/builds muscle fibers



those guys who eat the junk food r probly not pushing themselves hard enough during practice or they're making sure they're not eating too many calories

eating 2000 calories of fat is the same weight gain as 2000 calories of carbs
Bring some energy drinks,like gatorade, powerade, or some sort of granola bar. And also your body might not be used to football practices so therefore it gets tried. But it WILL get used to it the more you do it!
try keeping a power bar in your pocket and just take it out and grab a small bite whenever you have a minute of down time at practice. That's what I used to do with soccer.
